1. Acceptance
By creating an account, accessing Mimo, or using a Mimo service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Mimo.
2. Eligibility and Account
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement.
- Provide accurate registration information and keep supported profile fields current.
- Keep your credentials secure and notify support if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Do not create or use accounts to impersonate someone, evade enforcement, manipulate engagement, or harm others.
3. The Mimo Service
The current Mimo release provides profiles, public text and image moments, recommended and following feeds, likes, comments, follow relationships, mutual friendships, direct text messages, reports, and blocks. Features may vary by country, language, platform, account status, and app version.
Mimo does not currently offer payments, virtual currency, gifts, wallets, withdrawals, host applications, live voice rooms, or calling. No purchase, earning, or withdrawal right is created by these Terms.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service. We will provide notice of material changes where required, but we do not guarantee that every feature will always be available.
4. Your Content
You keep ownership of content you submit to Mimo. You grant Mimo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, resize, and moderate that content only as needed to operate, improve, secure, and maintain the service. This license ends when your content is deleted, except for copies shared with others, protected backups, and records retained for legal or safety reasons.
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to post your content. Public moments, comments, profile information, and likes may be viewed, saved, or reshared by other users. Do not publish confidential information.
5. Acceptable Conduct
You must not use Mimo to:
- Harass, threaten, exploit, stalk, scam, impersonate, or discriminate against others.
- Post sexual exploitation, child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate material, severe violence, or content that promotes dangerous wrongdoing.
- Violate intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights.
- Send spam, malware, deceptive promotions, or automated messages.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, overload, interfere with, or gain unauthorized access to Mimo.
- Collect or expose another person's private information without permission.
6. Reports, Blocks, and Enforcement
You can report a user, moment, or message and block another user in the app. Reports may include a reason, description, and optional evidence images. We may review reports, content, messages identified in a report, account activity, and service signals to enforce these Terms and protect users.
We may remove content, limit features, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve relevant records, or cooperate with authorities where appropriate. We do not promise to monitor every item or resolve every dispute. See our Child Safety Standards for child-safety rules and reporting.
7. Mimo Ownership
Mimo and its licensors own the app, website, software, trademarks, logos, visual design, and service materials other than user content. We give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the service while you comply with these Terms.
8. Ending Access
You may stop using Mimo or request account deletion through our account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk, violate law, or if the service is discontinued. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain effective.
9. Service Responsibility
Mimo is provided on an "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. Online services may be interrupted or contain errors. You are responsible for your interactions with other users and for evaluating content you encounter. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, Mimo is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of the service. Applicable consumer protections remain unchanged.
10. Changes and Contact
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the date above. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
